Ugonwa Okolo is an award-winning entrepreneur, energy trade finance specialist, consultant and trainer.

She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern European Languages. Subsequently her insatiable appetite for knowledge motivated her to acquire an MSc. in Energy Trade Finance at Cass Business School London, where she finished with a distinction.

Currently, Ugonwa is the founder of Viluton Energy and is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. She has successfully run this business for 7 years. Viluton Energy is a petroleum product trading and consultancy company that has gone on to win multiple awards in the energy space and has an enviable clientele that spans across sectors of the economy such as Banking, Hospitality, Event Management, Manufacturing Industries, Education and so on.

She is also the founder of Compargy Company a business training outfit for intending and budding entrepreneurs. As the Lead Consultant of this company she has facilitated courses in conjunction with banks in favour of their SMEs and with Business Schools for their students. She has organized a number of bespoke courses for the oil industry and entrepreneurs alike. Some of these courses have been facilitated with international consultants such as Channoil Consulting UK and International Business House UK.

Furthermore, she has facilitated courses for petroleum products trading companies, business start-ups, SMEs, going-concerns and individuals by offering: Business advisory, group trainings, one-on-one consultation and training sessions, business plan and business proposal writing services. Having the competitive edge of facilitating trainings whilst currently running a viable and successful business with first-hand experience is her unique selling proposition and this sets her apart from others.

Ugonwa regularly attends courses and seminars home and abroad in a bid to hone her skills. She is married with children.
